Acceptance criteria

Montessori Children’s House accepts children of any social and cultural groups. We are proud of the diversity we experience in our school community, from both the staff and the children. We want every child to be happy in the classroom, which means that he or she needs to be developmentally ready for the experience. Montessori Children’s House uses the following criteria for accepting individual children:

  1. The child is the proper age and gender needed for class balance.
  2. The child displays a readiness and willingness to receive instruction and to learn.
  3. The child is toilet-trained.

Parents can enroll children at any point during the school year depending on availability. Applicants will be put on a waiting list in the case the class is full.
